Important changes for admission
In 2018 the governing body decided the school would offer places to pupils from Years 5 to Year 11 from September 2019 onward extending the school by two additional year groups. The normal point of entry to the school is Year 5.
In addition the PAN (Published Admission Number) decreased from 80 to 65.
These changes were subject to public consultation. Further information can be obtained from the school. The school’s admission arrangements were revised to reflect these changes.
How to apply
Applications to join Year 5, 6 or 7 starting in September 2022 should be made using the dedicated application form below. Due to the challenges of COVID-19 and social distancing restrictions, a paper application form will not be made available.
This online application form works well on smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. However if you do not have access to the internet or you need support to apply you can:
- seek help from your child's current school
- visit the local internet kiosk - HBC
- seek help directly from Yesodey Hatorah Senior Girls' School
In agreement with neighbouring authorities all applications to join Year 5, 6 or 7 starting in September 2022 should be made via Hackney Education regardless of the home borough of the applicant. Please note that it is not possible to apply to the school using the online eAdmissions system.
Applications to join the school during the 2021/22 academic year should be made in the usual way by submitting an in-year application.

Additional information
In order for an application to be prioritised within the admissions criteria on the grounds of a Charedi Jewish faith, parents must submit a supplementary information form proving their commitment to the faith. The form is available from the school and will be included with the application form. Any disputes as to whether a child is Charedi will be settled by reference to the Rabbinate of the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations. Offers will be determined solely by the governing body according to the criteria outlined in the determined admission arrangements.
All applicants are required to provide proof of address and evidence of the child’s date of birth with their application.
