We are seeking an experienced and talented teacher with experience working with SEND children to join the senior leadership team to support the school in providing the best possible standards of teaching and learning for SEND children. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational, highly motivated and ambitious teacher to continue the excellent work of our current SEND Coordinator. The successful candidate will continue to improve provision for pupils with SEND and will coach and mentor support staff and teachers.
Working closely with external agencies, staff and families, you will ensure that pupils with SEND receive the support required in order to achieve their full potential. You will be the key figure in leading and developing the school’s approach to inclusion including the wellbeing and mental health drive amongst staff, students and the wider school community. The SEND coordinator will lead the SEND and Inclusion team including the pastoral manager and the SEND Co Assistant.
