Comet Nursery School and Children’s Centre would like to appoint a Meal-time
Supervisor to support our young children at lunchtime. You will work within a small
team to provide a family style lunch and encourage children to try a range of
healthy foods. During the lunchtime period you will also support children’s play and
learning experiences. All children have a cooked meal.
We are looking for someone who has energy, commitment and a sense of humour
and also:
Experience of working with children under 5
A good understanding of the importance of healthy food choices and an
ability to see lunchtimes as a learning experience
Ability to support play and learning for children
A kind and caring attitude to young children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An ability to be flexible in the post
