St. John the Baptist is a Church of England school that prides itself on being a child centered school. The school provides a safe and happy learning environment where children and adults are valued, nurtured and empowered. The school helps children become confident and responsible members of society and the promotion of spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is central to what they do.
With an artist in residence, a specialist Choir program, a residential programme for multiple years, swimming for all children from Reception to year 6 and chess lessons in classes, the school demonstrates the value they place on enriching the curriculum. Children excel academically and will make a difference in our community and beyond.
There are currently 11 classes. One class in most years from reception to year 6 and two nursery classes (one for 2 year olds and one for 3 year olds), and two year 3 and year 4 classes.
