The Hackney 10x10 Programme is a new initiative to support every child in Hackney to achieve 10 amazing activities by the time they are 10 years old.
- Engage in exercise
- Have a musical experience
- Learn to swim
- Take part in drama and performing arts
- Visit the seaside and the countryside
- Experience museums, theatres, galleries and heritage sites
- Take part in camping trips and overnight residentials
- Learn to ride a bike
- Take part in debating
- Use a library
Our ambition is for the 10x10 programme to help children develop new skills, find new opportunities, discover new places and interests which will support them to develop a strong sense of identity and to feel a valued part of Hackney.
