BSix Brooke House Sixth Form College alternative provision

Pre and post 16 provision

BSix is proud to be a comprehensive sixth form college offering courses in a wide range of subjects at all levels. We believe that all young people can achieve high standards. We are big enough to offer a wide breadth of courses but also small enough to give our students individual care, encouragement and attention.

This approach has become increasingly acknowledged in the education sector. It is reflected in the string of awards given to the college in recent years. Our students also appreciate the quality of the everyday classroom experience and share our commitment to equality and diversity.

BSix is a safe, stimulating and exciting place to study and work. It is a place dedicated to the highest possible standards and success for each and every one of its students. Our Alternative Provision is delivered in partnership with the West Ham United Foundation (WHUF), which provides mentoring, support and access to WHUF bespoke programmes which are designed to motivate and develop individual skills.

The college has an excellent support department. This includes student support officers, who work directly with students who have been identified as having specific needs and also student achievement officers who work within departments to provide extra support for all students.

In addition we believe that we should provide our students with the right platform to achieve academic success and professional experience. Our ‘Student Ambassador’ initiative enables them to acquire professional experience and skills allowing them to prosper both personally and professionally.
