Key Stage 4 provision

We offer accredited alternative education provision for Key Stage 4 pupils, aged 14-16. The courses we offer provide knowledge, experience and the vital employability skills required by employers.

Our aim is to re-engage young people and motivate them to achieve and progress onto Further Education, employment or an Apprenticeship.

Offering a highly inclusive, safe environment that fosters a culture of mutual respect and tolerance for students and staff, our provision offers QCF-based qualifications and includes both one day per week ‘day release’ courses from Entry Level to Level 2 along with full-time alternative provision courses.

We interview each student so that we can advise and guide them to the right course for them. Students can choose subject areas according to their interests, abilities, and intended career aims. An individual learning plan is prepared and carried out within well-equipped workshops and classrooms.

We are a specialist Digital Careers College and Health and Social Care Careers College, with outstanding local and regional relationships that produce meaningful work experience, with a strong career-focused ethos.
