New City College - Hackney Sixth Form is the re-established, Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Sixth Form College in Upper Clapton. Offering courses in specialist areas across all levels, in areas such as:

- Creative Arts & Media
- Information Technologies
- Health, Social and Early Years
The college is a safe, stimulating and exciting place to study, it is a sixth form dedicated to the highest possible standards and success for each and every one of our students through an excellent support department.
In addition, we believe that we should provide our students with the right platform to achieve academic success, positive wellbeing and mental health, and a professional experience.
14 to 16 provision
Our 14 to 16 EHE provision at New City College Hackney Sixth Form offers a dynamic and supportive environment for young learners aged 14–16 who are Electively Home Educated. This provision is designed to support parents and carers by delivering an aspirational, interactive, and enjoyable curriculum leading to excellent outcomes.
The courses we offer provide knowledge, experience and the vital employability skills required by employers. Students can choose subject areas according to their interests, abilities, and intended career aims. Students, who are home-educated can also access GCSE and pre-GCSE part-time provision of up to 16 hours per week.
Every student is interviewed so they can be advised and guided to the right course for them. Learning takes place within well-equipped workshops and classrooms and our teachers are fully qualified subject specialist teachers with significant experience of teaching 14- to 16-year-olds.
Hackney Sixth Form offers a highly inclusive, safe environment that fosters a culture of mutual respect and tolerance for students and staff.
