The Speech, Language & Communication Needs Teaching Assistant (SLCN TA) role focuses developing expressive and receptive language, social and emotional skills, setting them up for success as they progress through the school and preparing them for adulthood. It is intervention role, with some of the work taking place in class and some in withdrawal groups. You would work alongside our Speech and Language Therapists as well as our skilled teaching and support staff to improve student learning and progress.
We are now looking to appoint a skilled and passionate colleague who will further enhance the intervention team, working with more individual students, small groups, parents and staff. We are looking for someone who puts young people first, is caring, proactive, imaginative, and supportive.
