Big Creative Education (BCE) is an innovative college of excellence based in Walthamstow, East London. Its mission is to develop talent, transform lives and create careers.
Specialising in Media, Game Design, Computer Science, Music & Events Management, Make-up, Media, Film and TV, Sports Studies, Art and Design, Production, Performing Arts, Music, Dance, Drama, T- Levels and Fashion Design. BCE offers courses and internal progression routes from Entry Level through to Level 3 along with Maths and English resits.
New for September 2026, their Level 3 Esports course offers a practical introduction to the world of competitive gaming and digital media, teaching you skills in content creation, live event production, team management, branding, broadcasting, and esports business strategy. Through hands-on experience in areas such as shoutcasting, social media, tournament planning, psychology, wellbeing, and Unreal Engine, students will build the confidence and industry knowledge needed to succeed in one of the fastest-growing global industries.
They offer T-Level in Digital Production, Design and Fashion. T-Levels are a 2 year qualification alternative to A Levels and other post-16 courses. Students spend 80% of their time in the classroom and 20% on a 45 day placement with an employer to provide the skills and knowledge companies look for.
They also offer advanced apprenticeships in Live Events, Digital Marketing and Digital Media. Apprenticeship employers include ITN, Vice Media and Village Underground. An apprenticeship at BCE will provide the skills and experience needed to start a career within the creative industry.
In addition they offer a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design. This is an intensive 1-year pre-degree course designed to develop specialist artistic practice and prepare students for their next steps in art & design. The course provides an ideal bridge for those who have completed their studies at Level 3, and wish to continue to an undergraduate degree in a creative subject, or develop and explore their own practice in preparation for progression into the industry. To support the transition into Level 4, the course begins its teaching at Level 3, equivalent to A-levels.
Their team of teachers and mentors are all professionals who have a wide range of experience in life and education, and all have current industry experience and use modern approaches to teaching and learning.
BCE Creative Academy houses industry standard facilities. The specialist space includes a 200-seater theatre, a gym, community café, outdoor performance area and gardens as well as technical studios for music, dance, drama, fashion, make-up and TV.
The Digital Futures Campus, is a dynamic training space that reflects the modern working practices in Games Design, Animation, VFX, Digital Media and Post Production.
With industry standard equipment and facilities, Big Creative Education gives its students exposure to the creative industry as well as helping them gain a vocational qualification.
